Hedvig is a Scandinavian insurance company providing a predictable insurance experience for the next generation. Kanon Foundry was tasked to create a family of typefaces in collaboration with their in-house design department as a way to improve the visual experience of the brand. Happy F&B envisioned type inspired by the nostalgia associated with travel, that had an equal footing in classic vibes as well as the contemporary, and conveyed a feeling of booth family and premium. With direction from Dario Mutter we designed the logo for the Swiss based optician Optik Am Stauffacher. The letterforms where based on the historical references of the classic typeface Clarendon — but adjusted to suit the modern era.
